Word: Pejorative

Definition: Pejorative is a word, that expresses contempt, disapproval, or a low opinion. The term is inherently negative, functioning to disparage or belittle a person, in a racial context such as the word Spic used to belittle Latinos, Chink to belittle Chinese or Nigger to belittle Blacks.
